Sadie Dog
Looking back on this blog, boy have I failed. The goal was simple enough; use our everyday experiences sharing our lives with our wonderful dog, Sadie, and share them with others here on this blog.
Sadie came into our lives in June of 1999. This May, 2010, we had to say goodbye. We miss her terribly and are still grieving, and yet can already look back and reminisce about all the joy and good times she brought to our lives.
We’ve found lots of old photos, and continue to remember more and more stories. The goal now is to get those recorded here.
The current list of blog entries would have you believe our Sadie was an often sick and injured dog. This simply wasn’t true. Her fitness was fantastic, and even at the end the vets would still assume she was no more than maybe six years of age. She showed no signs of being old, and was an alert, active, sweetheart all the way through.
